The scanner tool is a safe and effective way to determine appropriate upgrade options for your desktop, laptop or server.  If you use Internet Explorer you can run the scanner as an ActiveX.  If you run Firefox you can download the scanner in a safe and compact program.  At the completion of the scan it will direct your browser to a page with a list of compatible memory products.

I use and recommend Crucial to all of my clients, friends and family.  I have found this tool to be the easiest and most effective way to upgrade a computer's memory.  Crucial also has some of the best prices on memory.  I highly recommend this free service and Crucial's memory products. 

Every experience I've had with them has been great!  On the rare occasion that a memory module does not work - only once since I've began using Crucial - returning the product to Crucial is easy and hassle free.
